I Love JA is more than a brand—it’s a vibe, a celebration of pride. is a story about bridging Caribbean and American heritage— a collaboration that marked the beginning of my journey as a multi-hyphenate storyteller.

Conceived by longtime friends Kimberly Lue Lim and Nikeisha Boothe, the brand immediately resonated with me, capturing the essence of Jamaican identity and representation.

Being part of the vibrant Jamaican culture and community here in New York through I Love JA felt deeply meaningful. As a cornerstone of the ‘Blouse n’ Skirt’ line in the SAI Collection, the brand launched its promotions on social media which led to remarkable success for the brand, further solidifying its connection to the diaspora.

Peter and Russell encouraged me to tell more of these stories full-time. That would be our last conversation.

What no one, not even Peter, knew was that I no longer wanted to perform full-time. When Peter passed shortly after, I began to reflect deeply on how stories travel and shape the way communities often see themselves.

While preparing to move from Soho to Harlem to launch AO + Company, a friend mentioned that David Jay was looking for a stylist and creative director for a brand campaign—and that he admired my work. This collaboration, though not one I’ve often shared, remains a reminder of the brand’s symbolic value, purpose, and vision.

After using a few bespoke items and suits in an editorial, the owners asked to produce an ad campaign for the brand and come on board as a creative consultant.

True to the editorial we created for The Beauté Book, Keith Lloyd’s campaign tells a story about women who prefer more bespoke, tailored experiences and who live life on their terms.

THE RIGHT PATH FOUNDATION

National Commercial & Campaign Launch.

The Right Path Foundation needed a more effective engagement strategy for both “My Part D USA” Campaign and “No To Gun Violence” initiative.

We executed a state-wide campaign with a more light-hearted approach that spoke directly to Baby Boomers. After careful R&D, our surveys confirmed that teenagers preferred the simple and direct approach with their appeal.

Both campaigns increased brand penetration by 200% and expanded the program to a successful national campaign.
